About
From mechanical engineering to process analytics
A short version of how the pieces fit together.
The short versionNow
I am doing a master's in Management and Technology at TUM with a specialisation in informatics, and working alongside it in Deloitte's Center for Process Bionics on process mining engagements.
Day to day that means Celonis, Python and SQL on the data side, and slides on the other side, because an analysis nobody acts on is not finished.

How I got hereBackground
I started in industrial engineering and mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen, with a specialisation in automotive engineering, and tutored mathematics and thermodynamics along the way.
A semester at Politecnico di Milano in management engineering shifted the balance towards the management side, and my bachelor thesis on where artificial intelligence creates value pushed it further towards analytics.
Porsche Connect gave me product management, Dr. Wieselhuber & Partner gave me consulting and the tooling to go with it, and Deloitte is where the two currently meet.
How I workApproach
I build the thing rather than specify it. The process mining tool at Wieselhuber, the dashboards, the workshop, this site, all of it came from noticing something missing and making it instead of writing a requirement for it.
I care about the handover. Analysis that stays in the analyst's tool is not value, so most of my effort goes into getting a result into a form somebody else can use.
