The problem
Process mining tends to live in its own window. The insight is real, but it stops at the tool boundary and never reaches the people who run the process day to day.
The practice needed something reusable across engagements rather than a one off analysis rebuilt for every client.
What I built
A process mining tool with an interface into Power Automate and Power BI, so an event log could move from raw extract to a live dashboard without manual handover.
Alongside it, several modular KPI dashboards in Power BI and Excel, structured so that swapping the data source rather than rebuilding the visuals was enough to reuse them on the next project.
What I took from it
Most of the value sat in the plumbing rather than the algorithm. Getting the data into a shape that a business user trusts is the harder half of the work.
